Hello Everyone!
Your children had a fun day today passing out and reading their Valentine cards. Thank you to CeCe Kiefner for providing the craft for the children. Their mailboxes were so cute!
The next two weeks are very busy for us as we prepare for our show along with many other fun learning activities. We will not have a spelling test for this week or next. We will still have vocabulary words.

We are continuing our geometry unit in math. Our writer's workshop is focusing on writing stories with a real, fantasy, real form. This week we will have a Science Teach-In. That should be a lot of fun.
Tuesday, February 15, is the hot dog luncheon to raise money for Relay for Life. Many of you have already paid for the lunch. Feel free to join your child for lunch that day! Also, to celebrate the children may wear purple shirts.
Please remember that there is no school on Friday. It is a professional development day for teachers. As you probably already know, we are off school next Monday for President's Day.
One more reminder...our dress rehearsal is Thursday, February 24. Please have your child bring in his/her costume that day.
