Happy Monday!
We enjoyed our field trip last week to The Tampa History Museum. Thank you to Mrs. Cannella and Mrs. Parker for assisting. I encourage you to visit the museum again with your child. There's so much to see and do!
Some school reminders...
After School Programs begin this week.
Grandparents Day is this Friday. There is a noon dismissal.
Relay for Life Cook-out will be Wednesday, February 15.
I let the children know about a writing contest. It is called "What Do You Know About Sun Safety?" This is an optional writing essay that should be no more than 500 words. The essay should focus on why you should protect yourself from the sun and why our school should be awarded a shade structure. The essays should be turned in to me no later than this Thursday. One essay will be chosen to represent the class. Once again, this is an optional writing assignment, but one that your child might want to try!
This week we will take a math test on Wednesday and a spelling test and vocabulary quizzes on Friday.
Thank you to those of you who have scheduled a conference with me. If you have not done so, please turn in the form as soon as possible. I hope to give everyone their top time selection(s).
